The Lafayette Standing Seam Awning boasts a contemporary design ideal for residential and commercial settings alike. Its adaptable pitch, facilitated by a unique hinged attachment system, can be adjusted effortlessly during or after installation. Should the need arise, it can be easily removed and reinstalled without any maintenance requirements.

• Sturdy 24 gauge 12″-wide standing seam steel panels with Galvalume® substrate and Kynar® paint finish.
• 20-year limited warranty on panel finish (limitations apply for salty environments).
• Commercial-grade construction to resist wind speeds up to 115mph, and snow loads up to 20lb/sq ft.
• May be folded down in the event of severe weather or to allow access to the area above the awning.
• Aluminum frame and support arms with clear anodized finish will never rust.
• Top flashing includes a caulking groove to seal the awning against the wall.
• Open sides provide for reduced wind resistance.
• Concealed roof panel fasteners for improved weather resistance and aesthetics.
• All hardware is included for an easy assembly and installation.
• Hardware is included for an easy do-it-yourself assembly. Appropriate wall anchors must be provided by the installer.

How To Order: 

1. Pick the appropriate size needed for your application from our drop down menu.

• The Lafayette awning width varies by 6" increments. Select the awning width from the drop-down menu depending on where you will mount the support arms. The support arms may be mounted on the window trim or on the wall outside of the trim. Allow 1.5" on each side for the support arm brackets. The support arms cannot be mounted on shutters.
• Larger widths are available upon request. Please Contact Us for custom requests. 
• Please note that awnings will ship with the following number of support arms, depending on the awning width:

• The support arms will be spaced evenly, unless requested otherwise by the customer.
• Additional support arms are available. Please Contact Us if you would like to order additional support arms.
• The height values are provided for an awning installed at a 45-degree angle. The awning projection is approximately 2" less than the height.
• The awning height and projection are adjustable during the installation.

2. Choose your desired awning color from our selection of swatches. Physical color samples are available upon request. Please note: Each color has a white wash coat on the underside of the panels, paired with an inked date stamp for manufacturer warranty verification.

15 Degrees Cooler warrants its products that have been installed in accordance with the installation guidelines, under normal usage conditions, and with proper maintenance as follows:

Lifetime Limited Warranty on aluminum against material failure and corrosion.

25-year Limited Warranty on steel against material failure and defects.

10-year warranty against peeling, cracking, blistering, or crazing of the surface finish of aluminum components.

10-year Limited Warranty on Sunbrella, Sheerweave, and Solamesh Fabrics.

5-year Limited Warranty on Soltis 86 fabrics.

1-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

The warranty period begins on the date of the original shipment.

What We Will Do To Correct Problems:

If defects or damage of the kind mentioned above should occur within the warranty period, we will replace the defective parts only; FOB its plant at Salem, Illinois, upon receiving the written and documented claim of the purchaser.

Warranty Exclusions:

Because of the normal aging and weathering of materials, it may not be possible to perfectly match the colors of original parts and replacement parts. 15 Degrees Cooler will not provide or pay for the installation of such replacement parts. 15 Degrees Cooler shall not be responsible for weather-related failures, damages due to faulty installation, misuse or abuse of the product, or consequential damages, including personal injuries or property damages. There are no warranties, express, or implied, which extend beyond the description on the face hereof.

How To File A Warranty Claim:

If you believe that you have a claim under this warranty, submit a copy of your original receipt or other reasonable evidence of the date of purchase, the identity of the product, and photos and a description of the allegedly defective product to the address below. Please also include your name, address, and phone number so that a customer service representative can respond to your submission. The ultimate determination of the existence and extent of any claimed defect under this warranty shall be made by 15 Degrees Cooler in its sole discretion.
